The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers is only the 6th Livery Company of the City of London to be formed since the reign of Queen Anne. The company aims to foster the British Furniture Industry and one way of doing this is by granting Guild Marks in recognition of product excellence.

The criteria for awarding a Guild Mark is 'Excellence in Design, Materials and Function.'
